Bob and O.J. Simpson in court. Bob was originally brought into the case by Barry Scheck to assist with the DNA evidence. Bob was quickly elevated to a much more significant role in the case, assuming the position next to O.J. during much of the trial. During the Simpson civil case, Bob was the only attorney hired from the criminal trial team to represent Simpson in the civil case.
